We are incredibly grateful to the 14 Yemeni female artists that participated in our Prints for Yemen sale, and to all those who purchased. The money raised will go towards supporting farmers and sustaining the production of organic and mineral staple crops (maize, wheat, sorghum,) as well as perennial crops (coffee trees, fruit trees etc). Lately, the on-going crisis in Yemen has received a large amount of much deserved attention. At Al Yamaniah we aim to highlight the work of Yemeni women internationally and thus we bring you our latest project: Prints For Yemen. Curated by Shaima Al-Tamimi @i.am.shaima & @intibint the project encompasses a set of extraordinary prints by 10 Yemeni women, for you to purchase, and we will donate 100% of the profits to Yemeni charities working on the ground. The chosen charity is Yemen aid, CEO’d by Summer Nasser @summers_ms , it is an organisation that provides long term and sustainable humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people, regardless of race, political affiliation, ancestry or religion.
